Made in Paris, 1902. Index number 736. 
Stamped in script ‘Linke’ (underside). Marked ‘FL’ (on bronze mount).

This is probably a unique piece made in 1902 for Linke’s personal use. No negative exists, although there is a drawing suggesting it was available to clients of the Linke firm. The Daybook and Price lists show it was made to go with the bedroom suites, index numbers 375 and 528. The cost was 170 francs 10 centimes, the molding of the cabriole legs and woodwork costing 37 francs 80 centimes. Linke also made a similar frame in rosewood and satinéas a book carrier, Archive number 1081.
