Last quarter, 19th century. After the original painting by Gustav Wertheimer (Austrian, 1947-1902).

Signed, ‘R. Dittrich’ (lower right). Titled, ‘Der well Umarmung’ (on reverse).

Impressed scepter, ‘KPM’ monogram mark, and cyphers (on reverse). Incised with the KPM rectangular size in millimeters, ’275 223’ (on reverse). With blue shield (beehive) mark (on reverse).

R. Dittrich is believed to have worked as a china painter in Vienna and mainly painted copies of well known works.
